16th 国际 生物 Symposium

16th 国际 生物 Symposium is a biennial conference organized by the 生物 Consortium and focused on the fundamental science of electroporation and related biomedical, 工程, and industrial applications. 今年, it attracted over 70 researchers from USA, 德国, 西班牙, 葡萄牙, 斯洛文尼亚, 日本, 还有其他国家. FRRCBE, as a founding member of the Consortium, traditionally makes a strong contribution to the scientific program, and this year was no exception. 的 meeting was attended by 9 Center for 生物 researchers, who gave 3 invited and 4 platform talks and 4 poster presentations, encompassing topics in biophysics, 免疫学, 微生物学, and cancer treatment. Our contribution was recognized by the best Post-Doc & Young RESEARCHer Presentation award to Vitalii金 and 3rd place Best Student Presentation award to 艾米丽Gudvangen. 最重要的是, Andrei Pakhomov received 2023 Frank Reidy Award for outstanding achievements in 生物, thus making FRRCBE home for 5 out of only 12 researchers in the world who received this award. Previous RRCBE scientists who received this highest recognition are Karl Schoenbach (2010), Richard Heller (2013), 史蒂文·毕比(2017), and Tom Vernier (2021). This strong record speaks to our Center's continued world leadership and impact on the advancement of 生物 research worldwide.
